Symmetry C4 Column, 300Å, 3.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 100 mm, 1K - 30K, 1/pk

Symmetry columns continue to set the standard for HPLC drug assays, giving you confidence in the long-term compliance of your HPLC methods. There's no need to forego peak shape, selectivity, column-to-column and batch-to-batch reproducibility, or other important performance parameters. There are particle sizes, chemistries, and dimensions available.

The Symmetry C4 Column outperforms conventional columns of similar chemistry in terms of peak shape and peak capacity for the separation of physiologically active peptides. When it comes to separating hydrophilic and hydrophobic peptides, as well as neutral and highly basic peptides, the Symmetry C4 Column outperforms other columns.

In both high and low mass situations, the Symmetry C4 Column outperforms other columns. Low TFA mobile phases or 0.1% formic acid are recommended for mass spectrometry applications. The analytical column provides the best answer for validation compliance regardless of whether or not the method is used.

The Symmetry C4 Column has the sharpest peaks for biomolecules and a higher peak capacity for complicated tryptic maps. This is made possible by the production of ultrapure silica. As a result, a high-purity analytical column with very little silanol activity is obtained. The column is also packed to provide the highest efficiency and reproducibility of any product on the market, giving you better precision for impurity and stability tests, more accurate quantitation, and adaptability to more difficult procedures.

Our website sells a variety of products that are compatible with the Symmetry C4 Column, such as guards, vials, and elution plates. The website allows you to shop for lab equipment as well as contact us with any questions. You may also be interested in the Carbamate Analysis Kit; The Waters Carbamate Analysis Kit includes a Waters Carbamate column as well as Oasis HLB cartridges, vials, and Reference Standards. These products, designed for use with EPA Method 531.2, simplify your analysis while increasing your confidence in the results. Carbamate Column - designed and tested for high sensitivity and excellent resolution, this column is specified as the primary column for EPA Method 531.2; Oasis HLB Cartridges - for sample cleanup and concentration to ensure maximum sensitivity; Vials - certified to be clean and free of background contamination in order to provide optimized analysis; Carbamate Reference Standards - for both drinking water and wastewater, these reference materials increase your level of confidence in your results.

How Does Elution Work Exactly?

Elution is the chromatographic process of using a solvent to extract an adsorbed substance from a solid adsorbing medium or the separation of an antibody from the antigen to which it is attached. In the process, the eluent or eluant is the "carrier" portion of the mobile phase that transports the analytes through the chromatograph.
