Symmetry C18 Column, 300Å, 3.5 µm, 4.6 mm X 75 mm, 1/pk

You will be able to attain high repeatability in chromatographic findings by adding the Symmetry C18 Column to your equipment. This is made possible by the Symmetry C18 Column's monofunctional bound C18 ligand, which is combined with high purity base-deactivated Silica. The Symmetry C18 Column features one of the industry's tightest ligand surface coverage (ligand density) standards, resulting in minimal variations in resolution and repeatable batch-to-batch results. With the Symmetry C18 Column, you achieve excellent reproducibility in your lab year after year.

Symmetry columns continue to set the standard for HPLC drug testing, offering you confidence in your HPLC methods' long-term compliance. Because the Symmetry C18 Column does not need to be revalidated, and you will not have to redevelop procedures with each batch of new columns, you will save labor and lab costs that accumulate with typical analytical columns that require continual monitoring and QC testing.

Waters created the Symmetry C18 Column with high purity raw materials and column packing techniques, making it one of the most reproducible HPLC columns available. The Symmetry C18 Column is made in specialized Waters facilities that are cGMP, ISO9001, and ISO13485 certified, where each step of the manufacturing process is meticulously monitored, and the strictest conditions are maintained. This allows the Symmetry C18 Columns to be manufactured to the strictest specifications in the market, ensuring reliable results every time. It is shipped with a three-page Certificate of Analysis that includes the requirements, as well as the results of 22 important tests that each column must pass before being quality certified.

You can shop for lab equipment to satisfy all of your laboratory needs by browsing our catalog or visiting our website. We also recommend checking out the Symmetry C8 Sentry Guard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 20 mm, 2/pk; Symmetry C8 columns include monofunctionally bound C8 ligands on a high purity base-deactivated silica. Symmetry columns feature the industry's tightest column parameters, resulting in highly reproducible chromatographic results.

What Is The Column Equilibration Procedure For The Symmetry C18 Column?

Before performing column equilibration, it is critical to confirm mobile phase compatibility before switching to another mobile phase system. Equilibrate the column with at least 10 column volumes of the mobile phase. To prevent mobile phase buffers from precipitating out on the column or in the system, flush the column with five column volumes of a water/organic solvent mixture with the same or lower solvent content than the intended buffered mobile phase. Please keep in mind that if mobile phase additives are present in low concentrations, 100-200 column volumes may be necessary for complete equilibration.
