The XSelect HSS T3 is a low-coverage C18 phase compatible with 100% aqueous mobile phase and should be your first choice when developing separations for polar and non-polar compounds. The XSelect HSS T3 columns exhibit ultra-low MS bleed and are fully scalable and transferable to UPLC separations. Packed in ultra-low dispersion hardware, 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] columns enable exceptional separation performance, robustness and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption.

When compared to BEH and CSH particles, the HSS particle has a greater silanophilicity, which provides benefits such as improved polar component retention and dramatically different selectivity. The XSelect HSS T3 Column also offers excellent reproducibility and transferability.

The XSelect HSS T3 Column, like all Waters lab equipment, is made to the highest industry standards in a cGMP, ISO 9001 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. Additionally, each column is tested individually to ensure that you only receive high-quality items with consistent results.

The XSelect HSS T3 Column has higher retention for polar chemicals than the standard C18 phase. When using up to 100% aqueous mobile phases, the reversed-phase analytical column outperforms the competition. The XSelect HSS T3 Column provides the most retention capability when employing typical reversed-phase mobile phases for combinations of polar and non-polar chemicals.

We recommend that you also use the XSelect HSS T3 XP VanGuard Cartridge, 100Å, 2.5 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk in conjunction with the analytical column. The cartridge is manufactured using the exact same packing materials that are used in the column, making them ideally suited. It functions by preventing any physical or chemical contaminants from entering the mobile phase, making the results more dependable. It also helps to enhance the lifetime of the XSelect Column.
