Product Description

ACQUITY CSH C18 columns were designed to provide alternate selectivity compared to other reversed-phase UPLC columns. These ultra-efficient columns overcome peak shape asymmetry and poor loading capacity for basic compounds, column bleed, and rapid mobile-phase re-equilibration.

ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 3/pk

Take advantage of the combination of CSH (Charged Surface Hybrid) technology and analytical method development capabilities of Waters UPLC technology for isolation and purification of basic compounds in the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column. You get the highest loading of basic compounds separated under volatile, acidic, and low pH mobile-phase conditions with the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column. The increased loadability makes it possible to use narrower columns which results in the use of smaller solvent quantities and fraction volumes.

Use the widest range of selectivity across all application areas with the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column. Efficiently achieve excellent results with the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column’s attributes such as low column bleed, excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, superior peak shape for basic compounds and seamless transferability between different particle sizes.

You can be certain that you will get consistent, reliable results every time with the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column. This is because Waters uses only the strictest conditions to manufacture the lab equipment, using ultra-pure reagents. Waters manufacturing facilities are cGMP, ISO 9001 certified and every column is individually tested and a Performance Chromatogram and Certificate of Batch Analysis are provided on the eCord Intelligent Chip. Each batch of ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column material is tested chromatographically with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes and the results are held to narrow specification ranges to assure excellent, reproducible performance.

You may also want to see the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 VanGuard Pre-column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. The VanGuard Pre-column works by removing chemical and particulate contaminants from the mobile phase to guard your column. This ensures that the column has a long life and delivers consistent, reliable results. Therefore, the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 VanGuard Pre-column is the perfect lab equipment to protect your analytical column from deterioration.

How Is Column Equilibration Determined?

Before changing to a different mobile-phase system, it is important to ensure mobile-phase compatibility. Equilibrate the column with a minimum of 10-column volumes of the mobile phase to be used. Once a constant back pressure is achieved, the column may be considered thermally equilibrated.
