Product Description

ACQUITY CSH C18 columns were designed to provide alternate selectivity compared to other reversed-phase UPLC columns. These ultra-efficient columns overcome peak shape asymmetry and poor loading capacity for basic compounds, column bleed, and rapid mobile-phase re-equilibration.

ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 3/pk

Use the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column’s broad range of selectivity in the widest applications areas. The ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column also offers a high standard of necessary performance attributes such as superior peak shape for basic compounds, low column bleed, and efficiency.

With the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, you can develop methods that can be reproduced easily even if your laboratories are situated in different parts of the world, as the column has been designed for the global marketplace. It offers easily transferable, robust methods.

The CSH technology used in the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, provides TFA (Trifluoroacetic acid) peak shape performance without actually using TFA. Thus, it prevents the disadvantages of TFA while offering excellent results. Improved peak performance is realized with a more MS-friendly mobile-phase such as formic acid. In addition to this, the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column provides faster and more straightforward method development as formic acid does not exhibit the lingering chromatographic effects of an ion-pairing agent. CSH technology also offers the highest loading of basic compounds separated under volatile, acidic, low pH mobile-phase conditions. The increased loadability enables the use of narrower preparative columns which in turn reduces solvent consumption and fraction volumes.

Since only the strictest conditions are used during the manufacturing of the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, you can be certain that the lab equipment will not require frequency replacement, and will deliver consistent results.

You may also want to see the ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 VanGuard Pre-column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk. The VanGuard Pre-column is the perfect lab equipment to protect your analytical column from deterioration. It removes chemical and particulate contaminants from the mobile phase to guard your column. This ensures that the column has a long life and delivers consistent, reliable results.

How Is The eCord Installed?

The eCord Intelligent Chip button is designed for use on the ACQUITY UPLC and ACQUITY Arc™ Systems. The eCord Intelligent Chip should be attached to the side of the instruments’ column heater module. The eCord button is magnetized and does not require specific orientation.
