Ion Exclusion Column, 7 µm, 7.8 mm x 150 mm, 1/pk
The Ion Exclusion Column provides you with an incredibly durable column bed for repetitive analyses at extremely high sensitivities. IC-Pak Ion Exclusion columns are used for the analysis of weak acid anions such as fluoride and short chain organic acids from formate to butyrate.
These columns are nominal 7 µm, designed for spherical particles, and are packed with high quality fully sulfonated resin. This column has the capacity for high precision and extreme sensitivity for separation of inorganic ions in large complex matrices. This column is extremely durable and is capable of handling 2000 PSI of pressure. This column uses an ion exclusion phase for reliable batch to batch reproducibility.
The Ion Exclusion Column is powered by water's High Performance Liquid Chromatography technology which enables you to produce superior results time and time again. This column is designed and produced to meet and exceed the most stringent requirements for lab equipment. It is made with only the highest purity raw materials so you can rest assured of the quality and reliability of your liquid chromatography column. This column is functional at both the analytical and preparative scale for the separation of strong electrolytes.
This tool will enable you to expand your lab’s capabilities to include the separation of weak acid anions. With this increase in your capabilities you will need to expand your storage and transportation capacity. The LCMS Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk is the perfect container to suit your storage and transportation needs. All Waters LCMS Certified vials are produced following tightly controlled manufacturing processes and handling procedures. They are tested with mass spectrometers and come packaged with a certificate of analysis showing the reference and vial scan for the manufacturing lot.
How do I maximize the lifetime of my Ion Exclusion Column?
Taking the proper precautions can help to ensure that you get the most out of your IC-Pak Ion Exclusion Column. The lifetime of a chromatography column can be reduced by contamination from samples and eluents as well as poor storage technique. Remember to never exceed the designated maximum pressure of 2000 PSI. Additionally, make sure that you filter all eluents and never use a cloudy or turbid mobile phase. Change in pressure, shock, or vibration can result from quickly changing the eluent and damage your column. Lastly, when using water as a mobile phase component, use water which has been purified with a Milli-Q water system capable of delivering 18 megohm water for your column's safety.
