12 Channel Clearance Spacer

The 12-channel Clearance Spacer is required for any experiment using a 12-channel pipette on the Andrew+ Robot. It arranges the Dominos in a staggered, offset layout that gives the robot's arm and wrist enough clearance to reach each of the seven 12-channel-compatible Domino positions. Printed guide lines on the spacer show exactly where each regular Domino or connected device should be placed. It unfolds from the box and installs alongside the first row of Dominos during bench preparation. During the Andrew+ bench scan, whenever a method uses row-by-row pipetting with a 12-channel pipette and the spacer is required, the system tells you if it is absent so it can be added before the experiment starts.
