Specifications

Overview

  • Increase sensitivity and gain greater insight into your sample
  • Achieve lower limits of detection and quantification
  • Cut solvent use by 4x or more to support cost and sustainability initiatives
  • Reduce sample use by 4x or more to get more from volume-limited samples
  • Enhance speed and productivity with out-of-the-box performance

Recommended Use: Enhance sensitivity of omics studies (i.e., proteomics, metabolomics, or biomarker discovery) and both small- and large-molecule bioanalyses.

Achieve greater insight from comparative omics studies

MaxPeak Premier Microflow 1 mm Columns improve peak shape and resolution of phosphorylated peptides and other acidic analytes when compared to traditional stainless-steel (SS) columns. In a head-to-head analysis, the MaxPeak Premier Peptide BEH C18 Column delivered sharper, higher resolution peaks than a conventional SS 1 mm column.

Improve sensitivity and resolution of small-molecule analytes for metabolomic studies

For acidic small-molecule analytes, like citric acid and iso-citric acid (shown), MaxPeak Premier Microflow Columns demonstrate sharper, taller peaks with up to a 57% increase in peak height, compared to stainless-steel columns.

Reduce solvent and sample consumption

Switching from a 2.1 mm ID column to a 1 mm ID column yields a 4.4x reduction in solvent usage and solvent-related costs per run. With a sample requirement that is 4.4x lower, and no need for sample conditioning, a 1 mm column can also help get the most out of precious volume-limited samples.

Certified for sustainable design

MaxPeak Premier Microflow Columns received an ACT® Label certification for their environmentally responsible design and manufacturing. Produced in a renewable-powered, resource-efficient facility, the columns incorporate 70% recycled content, responsible chemical management practices, and sustainable packaging to minimize their environmental footprint. MaxPeak Premier Microflow Columns are designed to reduce solvent waste while maintaining exceptional analytical quality.
