This application note demonstrates a high level of reproducibility, which is a critical attribute of reliable and accurate data. In addition, a mixer designed specifically for use with trifluoroacetic acid containing mobile phases shows a significant reduction in baseline noise, improving signal to noise for increased assay sensitivity. In addition to the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Bio Binary System, two other competitive LC systems-both equipped with binary high-pressure mixing pumps-were evaluated for impact on retention time reproducibility and baseline noise.
