MassTrak™ LC/MS/MS Solutions for the Clinical Laboratory

Much like immunoassays of the 1960’s mass spectrometry can be said to be the next major innovation of clinical chemistry assay techniques. Many laboratories now use LC/MS/MS for a variety of testing including toxicology, TDM and endocrinology. Improvements in assay performance and software utilities are two of the key drivers for its adoption. However, high quality liquid chromatographs and mass spectrometers are only pieces of the larger solution necessary for the deployment of a reliable clinical assay. Standardized methods, assay calibration, LC/MS/MS reagents, and quality control are also required and will be specifically addressed in this workshop. For many key endocrinology applications such as Vitamin D, automation of pre-analytical steps and assay robustness are challenges that have specifically been addressed by Waters clinical application scientists to enable successful implementation of LC/MS/MS. This workshop will be of particular interest to people who use LC/MS/MS or are considering implementing LC/MS/MS for Vitamin D, TDM and Toxicology applications.

This workshop is the perfect opportunity for attendees to meet laboratory personnel who use this technology to provide routine clinical services and learn how to implement these progressive and reliable solutions for routine testing. Speakers will discuss the advantages of LC/MS/MS for clinical testing and give an overview of the new developments in LC/MS for clinical laboratories.

Seating is limited, so please click here to register or get more information on this workshop.
