High Sensitivity MRM and Comprehensive Full Scan MS Methods on the Same System
Two complementary screening methods, which utilize the same chromatography and can be run on the same system, allow you to detect and identify a wide variety of compounds encountered in forensic toxicology investigations. You can either run a high sensitivity MRM method or take advantage of a full scan MS method to search against a library of over 950 compounds. Alternatively you can run both methods to provide the most comprehensive analysis of your sample.
The Waters library, used with the full scan MS screening method, has been developed in collaboration with leading forensic toxicology laboratories and can be easily updated by the user. The library includes over 950 compounds with both mass spectrometry and retention time data. These compounds include illicit drugs, prescription drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, pesticides, and psychoactive substances.
Automatic Data Processing
Automatic data processing enables quick and easy data review using Waters ChromaLynx and TargetLynx application managers. Specific application managers are provided to automatically process the acquired MS data for both MRM and full scan MS methods. Data is presented in easy-to-view browsers showing identified components and the criteria used for the identification.
Both MRM and Full scan methods are supplied on a DVD to ensure you are up and running quickly. You will not have to spend valuable time developing chromatography methods or optimising Mass spectrometry parameters. Preconfigured chromatography, MS acquisition and data processing parameters required to perform a targeted or broad comprehensive screening analysis on the Xevo TQD/Xevo TQ-S micro platforms are available.
